How fast does your team create blog content/ what can I expect once I sign up?

It takes our team 1 day to produce every 250 words of written blog content; about 4 days to final first draft estimated delivery for every 1,000-word blog post we create.

Once you sign up, you will have the choice to work with the same writer on every blog post that we create or pick a new writer.

Keep in mind that if you’d like to stick with the same writer for every one of your blog posts, we will need to work around their schedule. And although we still guarantee that we will get the blog posts back to you in a timely fashion, delivery times will vary.

How do you make sure that the writing you provide us is error free and factually correct?

We instruct our writers to provide a source anytime they make a claim that requires some sort of proof or credibility. The sources are linked to within the blog content itself, and a list of the sources used is provided at the end of each blog post upon completion as well.

We have our content writers proofread their own content each and every time before they turn in their final first drafts, and of course – we have internal editors do a thorough review for grammar and content quality before delivering you the finished product.

How do you measure the ROI of the content that you produce?

At Content Pros, we’re focused exclusively on producing awesome content for your blog and although lots of our customer have seen some incredible results from the work we have done for them, we have no guarantees as to the ROI that you will see from the content we produce.  We also don’t do any tracking of ROI for our customers.

However, since we are well versed in content marketing ourselves – we do have some advice when it comes to tracking ROI.  Of course, the best ways to track ROI are dependent on your goals but in general there are a few key performance indicators that you should look at, such as:

  • Number of email subscribers (more subscribers = more potential customers)
  • Total sales and revenue
  • Number of free trial customer signups
  • Retention rate of free trial signups

Keep in mind two things:

  1. It’s best to have 1-3 important metrics that you focus on and track. If you have too many priorities for your content marketing, you essentially have none.

     

  2. Content marketing is a long term play. You won’t see results immediately – trust takes time to build up in your customers.

Do you do content promotion and distribution as well?

At Content Pros, we do not help with promotion or distribution. We are focused 100% on quality blog content production and recommend that you have an internal or external resource to do all of the work related to your content promotion, full-time. Effective content promotion and distribution is critical when it comes to getting the most out of your blog posts.  

You should be skeptical of any companies out there telling you that they can do a great job at producing high-quality blog content and promoting it as well!

How long will it take until I see results?

While there is no universal way to answer this question, we can confidently say that if you are producing content consistently and effectively, at about the 6-month mark, you should see some small but measurable improvement in your key metrics. From that point onward, you should see slow but steady improvement.

Companies often see a “tipping point” around the 300-post mark. Yes, you read that right. Content marketing is a strategic marketing choice that pays off in years – not months.

Think of content marketing as a snowball going down a mountain. It takes a while to build up momentum, but once that snowball has built itself up, it’s hard to stop it.

As Hubspot says, “when we analyzed our own blog’s lead generation, we found that over 75% of our blog views and 90% of our blog leads came from old posts. Pretty crazy, eh?

Turns out you can generate real results from old content — and the more you publish, the more old content you’ll have that’ll get you traffic and leads over time.”

If you’re just trying to get a short spurt of business before the quarter ends, content marketing might not be the best choice for you.

However, if you truly want to provide your customers with long-term value and generate more leads for years to come, opting for content marketing is one of the best choices you can make.

Do you guys come up with ideas on what to actually write the blog posts about?

Our team works best when the ideas for the blog content that we are creating come from you. The majority of our most successful customer relationships work this way. 

That being said, if you are struggling to come up with an idea for an individual order, you can just let us know, and our team will come up with a few ideas for you based on your overall content goals and objectives.  

Keep in mind that ideation is not a part of our standard process, so we won’t be delivering you ideas for content on a regular basis unless you explicitly ask for them on an individual content order that you need help with.

What is the best way to provide your team with feedback?

We collaborate best when our customers leave specific feedback on sections of the drafts that they have comments about in Google Docs.  With regard to overall “global” feedback, those comments are best provided to us through our messaging thread within the project management dashboard.

In all cases, we prefer to work with constructive criticism rather than emotionally charged brash comments.  We’re a friendly bunch and will do our best to get your content exactly as you want it. Please help us make the content creation process an enjoyable one by leaving feedback in a way that is specific and helpful.

How does your process with revisions work?

We will revise every piece of blog content that we create until it’s perfect.  Once a blog post is delivered to you in final first draft form, you have 7 days to get back to us with as many changes as you’d like to see as many times as you want.

IMPORTANT: The only exception to our rule with regard to revisions is that you do not under any circumstance provide us with a new directive after we have already worked on a draft.  Rewrites are not free and although we take full responsibility for the overall quality of the content we produce, our customers are responsible for being as clear as possible with us per the ideas that they want us to write about.  Thanks in advance for your understanding.

What are your prices?

Our monthly pricing starts at 29 cents per word. Our minimum monthly plan starts at 1,000 words and scales up from there ($290). We offer steep quarterly and annual discounts of 23 cents and 19 cents per word, respectively.  

As long as you are signed up for a content plan with us, you can also place individual orders for content as you wish. The price you are charged for individual blog post orders depends on the initial payment option you selected for your plan (29 cents, 23 cents, 19 cents).

What methods do you accept for payment?
